If you follow Jeff's simple guidelines, you can carry on your life's activities - even after a 26.2 mile run. With this program, you only need to run 3 days a week. Jeff's run-walk-run method erases most of the leg fatigue as you run. If you have run before, but this is your first marathon attempt, then this plan is for you! We strongly encourage all first timers, regardless of their running history, to train by this "To Finish" schedule and not chose a time-goal schedule. Even veteran runners will learn some very important lessons in their first marathon. Everyone can have a good experience if the start is slow and the pace kept comfortable throughout. If you have a good experience you'll want to do it again!
